The current open position requirements are as followed:
1. Must be able to pass a background check.
2. Have a valid driver's license.
3. There are NO exceptions to the following: you MUST have a reliable, insured, and legal vehicle, be able to drive yourself, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. This position requires driving to and from each job so you
*** Must have a valid, unexpired driver's license with no restrictions such as a learner's permit, suspended/revoked license or restricted driving privileges.
*** Must have your own insured and legal vehicle to drive. Cannot use a motorcycle in case of severe weather or an animal needs to be transported in a medical emergency.
*** Must be able to drive yourself as we cannot allow anyone other than a team member to be onsite.
*** Must have a clean driving record with no major charges and/or convictions for reckless driving, DUI's etc.

4. Must have Monday-Friday midday (10am to 2pm) availability with some weekends and holidays.

5. Possess the skills to manage a variety of animals with diverse behaviors, concerns, and health issues.
6. Have the physical ability to perform tasks such as being able to lift 50+ pounds, walk for extended periods of time, handle walking a dog who pulls or is reactive, muck stalls, carry water buckets, bend, climb, work outside in varying types of weather and more.
7. Be able to work independently.
8. Have excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and time management skills.
9. Must be reliable, trustworthy and honest.
10. Must have excellent communication skills.
11. Must have your own cell phone (smart phone) with the ability to text, call, and a data plan as team and client communication, GPS, and the ability to use our system is vital and mandatory.
12. Must be 18 years of age or older.
13. Minimum commitment of one year.
*The position requires extensive driving. We serve Fauquier and parts of Prince William County.
