3. **Client Responsibility:**
The health and safety of your pets is our number one priority. Please ensure that all pet information, visit routines, emergency contacts, vet information, and emergency instructions are uploaded to the client portal. This information is crucial for us to act promptly in case of an emergency. 4. **Severe Weather and Emergencies:**
We will do our best to reach your scheduled visits during severe weather. However, if it is unsafe for us to travel, you will be notified immediately. It is important to have a backup plan with a nearby family member, friend, or neighbor, especially when you are out of town. Road closures, flooding, downed trees, power lines, and other extreme events may prevent us from completing visits.
5. **Safety and Outdoor Time:**
In cases of severe weather, behavioral issues, health concerns, or other factors, we may limit outdoor time to ensure safety.
6. **Property Access:**
If you provide us with a door or garage code, please note that if the door or garage fails to open and no other access is available, we may not be able to complete the visit. Instances such as dead batteries or faulty locks have occurred. We will contact you to find a solution, but if we are unable to complete the visit, the full charge will still apply.
7. **Cancellations:**
Last-minute (same-day) cancellations cannot be made online. Please contact us directly to cancel. We understand that schedules change, emergencies happen, and you may not feel well. Charges for cancellations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
8. **Day-of Requests:**
Day-of service requests are not available to schedule online. Please contact us directly to make such requests. We will do our best to accommodate, but availability is not guaranteed.
9. **Payments and Late Fees:**
All balances must be paid in full. Failure to do so may result in late fees and service termination.
10. **Service Termination:**
We reserve the right to terminate services for any reason, at any time.
11. **Holiday fee.**
Includes the following: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on a weekend, only the holiday fee applies.
12. ** Service Charge.**
There is a 3% service fee for all credit card transactions.
13. **New Client Meeting.**
All new client meetings will be held by the owner, Nikki or the manager, Connie.
14. **Staff Requests.**
Our team is quite small, and due to scheduling conflicts, we are unable to fulfill requests for a particular staff member.
15. ** Night Before Requests. **
Requests made after 8pm the night before may not be seen until the following morning. Please submit day before requests prior to 8pm or they may not be accepted. We will do our best to accommodate, but availability is not guaranteed.
16. ** Online Platforms.**
Should you be dissatisfied with our service for any reason, we respectfully request that you avoid leaving negative remarks on online platforms and instead reach out to us directly, allowing us to address your concerns.
17. **Zero Tolerance.**
We do not tolerate violence, aggression, intimidation, abusive language, harassment, sexual harassment, hostility, discrimination, bullying, cyberbullying, stalking, or any other similar behaviors towards our staff. This includes but not limited to in person, calls, texts, emails, as well as anywhere online. We take this very seriously and there are no exceptions. We will treat you with courtesy and respect and in return our staff expect the same. Legal action may be taken and services will immediately be terminated.
